Coverage Options Explained

Load Shedding Only

For homes: 4–6 hours backup during outages. For commercial: 2 hours backup at essential load capacity. Most cost-effective option — ideal for most homes and small businesses.

Day Use + Backup

Solar powers your property during the day with backup for outages. Ideal for homes, offices and businesses with high daytime usage.

24/7 Full Coverage

Maximum solar coverage day and night, minimising reliance on the grid. Suitable for high-usage homes, farms, estates and commercial facilities.

Important: High-Power Appliances (Residential)

Solar inverters have a maximum load capacity. The following appliances draw very high power and are generally not recommended to run on solar:

  • Electric geyser / water heater (2,000–3,000W)
  • Electric stove / oven (2,000–4,000W)
  • Swimming pool pump (750–2,500W) — timer recommended
  • Microwave oven (1,000–1,500W) — short use only

Solar works great for: lights, TVs, computers, fridges, fans, routers and most everyday appliances.

Note for Commercial & Industrial clients: The above restrictions apply to standard residential inverters only. Commercial systems are engineered to your specific load requirements — high-power machinery, HVAC, and industrial equipment can be accommodated with the appropriate system design.
